Louise Attaque

Gaetan Roussel le chanteur et Robin Feix le bassiste se rencontrent alors qu’ils sont au lycée. Pour poursuivre leurs études, ils quittent la ville de Montargis où ils habitent et montent à Paris. En même temps, ils se mettent à la musique. Au duo, s’adjoint un troisième musicien, le batteur Alexandre Margraff. Si au début des années 90, ils obtiennent chacun un diplôme intéressant, Caravage, le groupe qu’ils forment à trois, se cherche quant à lui, une identité dans le rock.

Ensuite ils rencontrent le violoniste Arnaud Samuel dans un studio de la région parisienne. Là, commence réellement l’aventure de Louise Attaque.Très rapidement, ils enregistrent une maquette de huit titres et font leur premier concert au bout de deux mois. En avril 1997, sort un album éponyme « Louise Attaque ». Mélange efficace de rock folk et violon, l’album se vendra à plus de 2,5 millions d’exemplaires. succès phénoménal. L’album suivant répétera la recette qui a fait leur succès :”Comme on a dit”. Puis chaque membre du groupe travaillera sur des projets séparés.

Finalement en 2005 sort l’album du retour et de la maturité “A plus tard crocodile”. Après le départ du batteur en 2016, Louise Attaque sort “Anomalie”, et s’apprête à revenir sur le devant de la scène dans les prochaines années.

After the final exam, they both moved to University in Paris and met Alexandre Margraff who became the drummer of the band they call “Caravage”. But nothing separated them from many other bands. The change happened when they met violinist Arnaud Samuel, who brought the “Louise Attaque touch” to French rock. They quickly record a first album called “Louise Attaque” that burst onto the French scene in April 1997. An efficient mix of folk rock and violin, the album sold more than 2.5 million copies. A phenomenal success. The following album “Comme on a dit” is very similar to the first one. Then, every member of the group worked on separate projects. Finally in 2005 Louise Attaque released what was considered an album of  maturity, “A plus tard crocodile”.

Gaetan Roussel (laulu) ja Robin Feix (basso) tutustuivat toisiinsa lukiossa. Jatkaakseen opintojaan he lähtivät kotikaupungistaan Montargis’ta Pariisiin. Samaan aikaan myös musiikki astui kuvioihin. Duo sai vahvistuksekseen kolmannen jäsenen, Alexandre Margraffin (rummut). Elettiin 90-luvun alkua ja kukin bändin jäsen suoritti opintonsa loppuun. Heidän yhtyeensä Caravage sen sijaan etsi vielä paikkaansa rockissa. Sitten mukaan astui Arnaud Samuel (viulu). Tästä alkoi Louise Attaquen menestys. Tämä toimiva yhdistelmä folk rockia ja viuluja myi yli 2,5 miljoonaa kappaletta. Oikea huippumenestys! Kakkosalbumi, Comme on a dit toistaa ensialbumin tarinaa. Sitten yhtye lähti omien sooloprojektien tielle. Yhteen palattiin taas vuonna 2005 ja yleisölle tarjottiin hyvin kypsytelty albumi A plus tard crocodile.
