Languedoc-Roussillon

Le Languedoc-Roussillon, souvent appelé « le Languedoc », est une région côtière historique dans le sud de la France, qui s’étend de la Provence à la chaîne des Pyrénées et la frontière espagnole. La région est un important producteur de vin, avec son appellation Vin de Pays d’Oc et le Crémant de Limoux parmi ses plus célèbres variétés. Le chef-lieu, Montpellier, abrite un quartier médiéval bien préservé.

Languedoc-Roussillon (often called “Languedoc”) is a historic coastal region in the south of France, stretching from Provence to the Pyrenees and the Spanish border. The region is a major producer of wine, with Vin de Pays d’Oc and Crémant de Limoux among its most famous varieties. The capital, Montpellier, is home to a well-preserved medieval district.
